Takwil Dan Kritik Literalisme: Kaedah Al-Ghazālī Dalam Mentafsir Hadith-Hadith Yang Mengandungi Antropomorfisme

Antropomorfisme terus menjadi salah satu topik terpenting dalam wacana akidah Sunni pada hari ini antara kalangan Ash’ari dan Salafi. Polemik tentang perkara sebahagian besarnya dibina di atas persoalan bagaimana mentafsirkan ungkapan antropomorfistik yang terkandung teks-tekas agama. Artikel akan mendedahkan metode al-Ghazālī membincangkan hadith-hadith ṣifāt menerusi analisis kritis ke pelbagai karya beliau telah diterbitkan. Kajian kepustakaan bertumpu kepada dokumen diamalkan kajian ini. mendapati bahawa aktif menggunakan pendekatan takwil (pentafsiran majazi) untuk meluruskan kefahaman kandungan hadith agar selari dengan prinsip tawhid tarnsendensi tuhan. Pendekatan adalah kelanjutkan daripada sikap pertengahan menerima kebenaran wahyu ketetapan akal. Justeru, sokongan selalu diiringi kritikan rasionalisme Mu‘tazilah literalisme Ḥanābilah. Meskipun mengamalkan takwil, aan tetapi al-Ghazali berpandangan bukan semua orang. Sebaliknya, hanya dibenarkan ulama tertentu memiliki ketajaman tahapan spritualiti memungkinkan mereka memahami mesej tepat. Berbeza pandangan sesetengah pengkaji, konsisten berpegang positif teologi terakhir iaitu Iljām al-‘Awām ‘an ‘Ilm al-Kalām.
